I thought this shade would complement my fair skin and red hair and it does. It also goes on really easily. It’s a great color that’s not too dark, or too light and I think it would complement a lot of skin tones. It reads very bronze and it has this art deco type vibe I adore.

Reds are my favorite and this one reminds me of a 50s pinup. It will be great for summer pedicures.

I’m a sucker for shimmery nudes and I thought this would be a really pretty base for some nail art.

I already have this topcoat so I’m going to hoard this extra as a gift. I love it when we get polish freebies and this one is perfect for Valentine’s Day.
OVERALL:
Verdict: Hit!
The retail value on this box was $60 and the maven value was $48.00. I paid $21.39 with tax and I feel like I got a great value for my money. Julep has now graciously upgraded their long time mavens to customizable boxes for the same price, so I should have all kinds of goodies from Julep to review in my upcoming boxes.
